Flint, Mi - A power outage was reported early this morning affecting multiple blocks downtown. Crews are currently working to restore electricity, but power is not expected to return until approximately 3:15 PM today.
This is causing store closures and lack of power to streetlights. Please plan accordingly.
8/22 11:00AM - Friend of the Times, Chuck Gurden, has reported that we are starting to see power being restored downtown. Be aware power still may be spotty as they continue to restore power to the rest of the city.
Consumers currently has "Animal" marked as reason for outage.
