Flint, Mi –
Here’s to 40 years of getting the crew together and heading downtown for a night you won’t forget. 40 years of late nights discovering new bands and artists. 40 years of bass, rhythm, and lyrics hitting the crowd. 40 years of local talent making a name for themselves.
Cheers to Flint’s “All Ages Anchor”, hitting 40.
That legacy takes center stage Saturday April 11, for an anniversary show rooted in the Local’s history.
Headlining the night is 84 Tigers, an alternative pop-punk band with roots that run right through the Local. Featuring members from Small Brown Bike and The Swellers, the band represents the kind of homegrown talent that has defined the venue for decades. Their most recent album, “Nothing Ends” dropped in October of 2025 and is worth the listen.

They’re joined by Suburban Delinquents, who has Local appearances dating back to the late 90s, along with Local favorites Big Donut and Detroit’s Touch the Clouds.
The Local 432 has survived this long by giving artists a space, keeping it accessible, no “rockstar BS” and letting the music speak for itself. 40 years later, that philosophy has fostered a tightly knit community; a safe, all-ages home to share in the experience of Flint’s live music.
The 40th anniversary show is set for Saturday, April 11 at Factory Two. Doors open at 6:30pm. Like most shows at the Local, it’s free and open to all ages.
