The Flint City Bucks are headed into the second-round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Flint will host Detroit City FC at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Don Bachelor Field in downtown Grand Blanc.
After advancing out of the opening round, the Bucks now face a step up in competition against a Detroit City FC from the USL Championship. Their previous competition, Madison Forward FC, came from USL League 1.
The winner moves on to the Round of 32, where a Major League Soccer team awaits. Flint remains one of eight non-professional teams still in contention for a cash prize and a spot in the 2027 tournament.
