Local 432 Adds Greet Death to 40th Anniversary Show

Flint, Mi –

Amidst the start of their international tour, Flint Local 432 has added Greet Death to Saturday’s 40th anniversary show.

Beginning April 10, the band kicks off a run of dates stretching across the U.S., Canada, Switzerland, Germany, and the UK. The local band, has grown into international indie shoegaze darlings, carrying a sound that blends distorted guitar with ethereal melancholic melodies that take you back to your last 3am cup of coffee and cigarette.

The booking came together in a narrow window. Greet Death plays in Chicago on the 10th, and Canada the 12th. That left April 11 open, just as Local 432 was finalizing an already impressive lineup including 84 Tigers, Suburban Delinquents, Big Donut, and Touch the Clouds.

We reached out to Joel Rash the founder of the Flint Local to see how it came together.

“Sometimes you just get lucky. Doesn’t hurt we’ve known them since they were in high school.”
